On November 20th, World Children’s Day, MCW along with NCWC, are joining in a partnership with Concordia University‘s 4th Space Initiative to present “How to Protect Children Online”. MCW members Penny Rankin and Indra Kubicek will be participating in the week-long activities.
Today’s children are growing up in an increasingly digital world. In any scenario, safety of children is an utmost priority. How children can be adequately protected amid a complex and constantly shifting cyberspace?
To know more, join us for this panel discussion on World Children’s Day, moderated by public scholar and doctoral candidate Azfar Adib, as we engage in a conversation with the lawmakers, social activists, and regulatory experts leading this arena. Panelists Senator Julie Miville Dechêne, MP Arnold Viersen, Keith Jansa, and Penny Rankin will discuss the legislative, technological and social aspects of child online safety in Canadian context.
