2025 MCW Annual General Meeting

Join the Montreal Council of Women on Thursday, May 22 at noon via Zoom, for the MCW Annual General Meeting. We will vote in the new MCW board for 2025 - 2026 and meet photographer and artist Paula Worley. Paula specializes in photographing both people and animals, and has captured portraits of everything from dogs, horses, and rabbits to jellyfish. We will learn how Paula brings her artistic eye to colour and monochrome shots of city skylines, guitar players on stage and beloved pets, among other subjects.

About Our Speaker

Paula Worley, Photographer & Artist

Paula immigrated to Canada in 2007 with her husband and young children. Having studied in the arts at University, her career path has taken her into theatre as an actor and dancer, and later as the artistic director of her own theatre company Shakespeare Street Theatre. Since moving to Montreal in 2020, following the pandemic and the closure of her theatre in Ontario, Paula regenerated her career into photography, specialising in portraiture and life. Paula describes herself as an ardent feminist and is also a passionate advocate for the rights and inclusion of neurodivergent people the arts.
