About Our Speaker
Sandra Cohen-Rose
Born in Bournemouth, England, as a child she immigrated to Canada. Practicing as a Consultant Dietitian-Nutritionist, she wrote The New Canadian High Energy Diet. Her interest in architecture resulted in the first book on Canadian Art Deco, Northern Deco - Art Deco Architecture in Montreal. She and her husband live in Montreal and the beautiful Eastern Townships, Quebec on Lake Memphremagog surrounded by mountains, meadows, monasteries, picturesque villages, a backdrop for her writing.
Sandra is past president and honorary life member of the National Council of Women of Canada, and past president of the Montreal Council of Women, and presently is on the board of the Provincial Council of Women of Quebec.
