Great to see that of the 260+ participants who attended the recent Virtual Summit on "Cultural Change in Long-Term Care in Quebec" that Penny Rankin and I were joined by many other MCW members.

The Summit began with the Honourable Deb Schulte, federal Minister of Seniors and ended with Margaret Blais, Quebec Minister of Seniors and Informal Caregivers.

The in-depth analysis was provided by the three key-note speakers: Dr. Pat Armstrong, Distinguished Professor of Research, Department of Sociology, York University; Barb Sutcliffe, Research Institute of Aging, University of Waterloo, and Dr. Patrick Marier, Centre for Research and Social Gerontology, Concordia University. The conversation about the collaborative approach needed to change our culture about the elderly was not one to be missed.

For MCW members who could not attend this free virtual summit, not all is lost. It is still possible to watch the event, its speakers and its exceptional conclusions.
